Christy Thomas Carr

A Licensed Clinical Social Worker, (LCSW) with over ten years of experience, Christy provides outpatient mental and behavioral health services for diverse client populations and conditions.  Specializing in working with children, adolescents, young adults and their families, Christy provides comprehensive individual and family services, including diagnostic assessment, treatment planning, coordination of services/referrals and evidence based therapeutic interventions.  Utilizing an eclectic style and incorporating a variety of treatment modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral, Solution Focused, Trauma Informed and elements of Play and Art Therapies into her practice.  These individualized treatment modalities allow for a therapeutic experience that is tailored to the specific needs of clients.  Christy is passionate about facilitating clients’ recovery efforts through collaboration with the client. She particularly enjoys assisting those who’ve experienced trauma in their journeys from victim to survivor.
