A Licensed Clinical Social Worker, (LCSW) with over ten years of experience, Christy provides outpatient mental and behavioral health services for diverse client populations and conditions. Specializing in working with older children, adolescents, young adults and those who have experienced trauma, Christy provides comprehensive individual and family services, including diagnostic assessment, treatment planning, coordination of services/referrals and evidence based therapeutic interventions. Christy utilizes an eclectic style and incorporating a variety of treatment modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral, and Solution Focused Therapies, allowing for a therapeutic experience that is tailored to the specific needs of the client. As a trauma informed provider, Christy approaches all interventions from a trauma informed perspective and as a trained provider of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)Therapy, Christy offers EMDR to clients who are suitable candidates. Christy is passionate about facilitating clients’ recovery efforts through collaboration and she particularly enjoys assisting those who’ve experienced trauma in their journeys from victim to survivor.
